The statement said: With the acquisition of Schock GmbH by investment firm Triton in March 2021 the prerequisites to further accelerate the geographic expansion were created. The acquisition of Marmorin was negotiated in close cooperation between Schock’s management and the Triton team.”

Speaking about the deal Schock chief executive Ralf Boberg said: “Marmorin offers outstanding products, great material and design know-how and a customer base that will enable us to tap further potential in the United States. The acquisition underlines our ambition to further expand our position in this key growth market.”

Jakub Hrab, CEO of Marmorin added: “We have known and appreciated each other for a long time. With Schock, we have found the right partner to drive our growth in the USA.”
