kbb Birmingham 2022: Surfaces

Caesarstone
Stand J90

The 2022 Caesarstone stand is nearly double the size of stand at the last show, which not only increases the brand’s presence but also allows the space to showcase 32 large-format products, as well an exciting number of new additions.

This year will see multiple new surfaces join the Caesarstone range and visitors to the stand will be able to see a new collection, two further new quartz products, plus a preview of Caesarstone UK’s first ever porcelain range.

In addition to its product displays and previews, there will be the Black Tempal bar, serving great coffee all day and champagne for the last hour of the show, Sunday to Tuesday.

The stand is also host to several design touches and products from companies Caesarstone says it is proud to be working with. Kvadrat, Buster and Punch, Tom Dixon and Kaelo have all made contributions to the stand that will both visually and functionally enhance the experience for visitors, the company says.

Included once again on the stand this year is a private office, available for key partners to discuss forthcoming plans with the Caesarstone team.

BerryAlloc
Stand C90

The flooring brand will join distributor International Decorative Surfaces, to present its Wall&Water concept. Alongside the main stand will be the BerryAlloc show truck, a temporary home housing the manufacturer’s focused flooring collections for the show. The truck will provide a chance for visitors to see the updated HPF, Ocean+, Chateau
and DreamClick collections, all made for the demands of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, BerryAlloc says.

Scott Arundell, sales director, comments: “We’re delighted to be coming together with IDS to exhibit at kbb. The show provides us a unique opportunity to connect with a new audience of industry professionals and to continue our growth in the UK.

“We aim to use the opportunity to show retailers and specifiers that BerryAlloc has a range of solutions for kitchen, bathroom and bedroom use. Innovations such as our water-resistant laminate Ocean+, and DreamClick, our rigid vinyl flooring that’s quiet and easy to install, will underline that BerryAlloc has a range of flooring unmatched in today’s market, backed by outstanding POS and support materials.”

Infinity Engineered Surfaces and Clay International
Stand N82

Distributor Clay International will be showcasing the Infinity collection of worktop technologies and decors, along with its “unique” vein technology. According to Clay International, Natura-Vein Tech is a revolutionary innovation developed by Infinity technical experts to obtain veined slabs, recreating the effect found on natural marble. With its innovative extra-large size, seamless design, and elegant details, Infinity allows users to cook with friends and family, and the technical features of these slabs guarantee the highest standards of hygiene and comfort.

Clay International, which is the exclusive distributor for Infinity, says it hopes to further establish the Infinity brand in the UK market and to welcome new and existing clients to its stand.

Königstone
Stand Q104

Königstone says it’s excited to present its new outdoor kitchen range – KönigOutdoor. The stand will feature two L-shaped islands that are mirror-imaged to demonstrate the variety of product applications. One will be an indoor kitchen and the other an outdoor kitchen.

The indoor kitchen will feature the König Quartz Statuario worktop – a classic Calacatta marble-inspired surface incorporating gold and grey veining with Premium Joint, a technique that provides a less visible joint. The outdoor kitchen will showcase the KönigOutdoor modules that combine proven durable materials and stylish porcelain-clad cabinetry to provide a kitchen of unquestionable quality to withstand the British weather.

Königstone says it is particularly enthusiastic to have the brand and products proudly displayed for the existing customer base, as well as potential future customers.

Pfleiderer Stand R104

For the European wood-based panel manufacturer’s stand this year, pride of place will go to its Duropal Worktop Collection, Pfleiderer PrimeBoard Collection and the DST Décor Collection.

Pfleiderer offers a complete range of panels for every decorative surface and construction project, making it “the perfect partner to the timber trade, furniture manufacturers, fabricators, designers and architects”.

Pfleiderer consolidates the product ranges of Duropal and Thermopal under the Pfleiderer umbrella brand, operating state-of-the-art production facilities, as well as a dedicated sales office in the UK and a network of distribution channels across the UK and Ireland.

Rehau
Stand R114

For the first time, Rehau will display its latest Rauvisio noir monotonic matt surface in a full kitchen display. According to the company, the range is sold on the fact it is fully integrated, so it runs seamlessly from kitchen front to worktop, to edge band, to tambour door – in keeping with the popular invisible kitchen trend. It is this holistic approach that Rehau claims will set it apart at kbb Birmingham this year, as the one-and-only edge-band originator that can provide all solutions in one holistic approach through distributor Waivis.

Showerwall
Stand D54

This year, the wall coverings specialist has made a significant investment in refreshing its collection, incorporating the top trends that are set to be huge in the coming year.

Meeting the consumer demand for unique patterns and interiors, the additions to its collection have drawn inspiration from nature, delicate tiling details and some fun, funky and playful creations for those looking for brighter bolder designs, Showerwall says.

The new designs have been inspired by the feelings that they generate for homeowners, allowing them to create a sanctuary, which offers the style and visual appeal that emulates the high-quality, polished aesthetic that individuals expect of a spa or wellness centre. As part of the range refresh, Showerwall is introducing new designs for its Laminate Collection, which replicate the look and feel of real marble, as well as unique printed designs in its Acrylic and Custom Collections that replicate intricate tiles and wallpaper patterns.

In addition, the brand will be introducing a new dedicated display stand for the Acrylic and Custom Collection, which it began rolling out in showrooms earlier this year.

It will also be launching its new Laminate Stand at the show, which visitors will see for the first time.

Verona
Stand E80

Tile, mosaic, flooring, and outdoor porcelain distributor, Verona, is making its kbb show debut as it reaches its 20th anniversary. The brand is taking the opportunity to meet with retailers face-to-face, once again.

Verona will be unveiling two new porcelain ranges and their display options on stand, which will be available for retailers to order to their showrooms.

Alongside the new launches, all of the existing ranges will be available to view, together with Verona’s range of display options, which have been purposefully designed to better support retailers in selling products to customers. From small ceramic tiles to large-format porcelain, SPC and water-resistant laminate, there will be plenty of inspiration to be found for those looking to upgrade their surface offering, Verona says.

Marketing manager Jayne Adamson comments: “By showcasing our range of stylish solutions direct to retailers, we hope we can demonstrate just how much we have to offer, and provide customers with a standout selection of surface coverings that spans every style and requirement, while demonstrating our unrivalled level of customer service.”

Wex Trade
Stand J114

There will be the opportunity to learn more about the new worktop material, Fenix NTM(R), and how it can benefit retailers and their customers, as well as a chance to see De Terra – a selection of solid-wood worktops that Wex Trade says is perfect for both traditional and contemporary kitchens.

High performance and durable surface, Axiom by Formica Group will be on display, as will Formica Prima – a collection of 34 worktops offering “style and simplicity.” Its solid laminate will also be showcased.

Visitors to the stand will be able to speak to Wex Trade’s kitchen experts and learn about how the company makes the lives of retailers easier, thanks to its bespoke cutting service, showroom support, in-house delivery fleet, and dedicated support team, which the company says is “all focused on giving outstanding customer service.”
