About the role:

The key focus is on business development in the North, by supporting, motivating and training the existing dealer network, as well as prospecting and opening new showrooms. Grow revenue for both the retail and contract sectors whilst meeting key objectives and goals set by the UK Managing Director. No two days are the same, so the roles suits a self-motivated, pro-active and optimistic person who is an authentic persuasive influence.

Essential professional qualities:

  • 3 years’ + experience in the KBB industry
  • Strong proven track record in a similar role
  • Degree level education
  • Sales experience driving business growth
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different personalities
  • Confidence public speaking and training small groups

  • Through networking he/she gains the support of peers to develop long term relationships
  • Has an entrepreneurial flair and can consultatively identify business improvements
  • Has the ability to juggle many projects and tasks at the same time, which includes customer service solutions in a demanding environment
  • Contacts with Developers, Architects and Interior Designers
  • Have a passion for interiors and design
  • Is able to work remotely and independently, is pro-active, self- motivated and driven by achieving results – hitting KPIs and goals.
  • Has a  full UK Driving Licence
  • A flexible approach to working hours and travel.

Key responsibilities:

  • You’ll develop and maintain regional accounts and grow our market share by gaining new dealerships and generate business within the retail and contract market.
  • By motivating, supporting, and developing knowledge levels through training designers, you’ll support sales growth and ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Project manage showroom renovations by liaising with the dealership and interior architect to ensure the studio is on track with all aspects of the design, corporate identity and regional requirements for commercial success.
  • Through networking and presentations, generate contract leads through direct contact with architects, developers, interior designers.
  • Aftercare service – solution provider if problems occur.
