Designer of bold and colourful basins, The London Basin Company, has opened its first showroom in Chelsea Harbour.
The showroom, located on the first floor of Design Centre East, Chelsea Harbour, showcases the full collection of its decorated porcelain basins. The company before this space operated exclusively online and this new space lets its customers experience the basins in person.
Although renowned for its basins, the company also offers a wider bathroom collection that includes vanity units, taps and accessories.
Anna Callis, co-founder of London Basin Company, said: “The Design Centre really is one of the world’s most renowned destinations for interior design. As an interior designer myself, I have spent a lot of time here over the years and it has always been one of my favourite places to go for inspiration. We’re so thrilled that our first showroom is at the Design Centre – it’s a dream come true.”
Callis had a clear vision about what the showroom should look like as a space that was ‘highly visual and vibrant, allowing customers to experience the products in all their glory.’ The bold basins are designed to be a centrepiece for a bathroom or cloakroom, and are handmade using a combination of traditional and contemporary craft processes.
Founders Anna Callis and her daughter Nathalie Callis are inspired by travel and decorative art from around the world.
