Appliance manufacturer KitchenAid has announced the launch of its first ever Experience Store in London’s Wigmore Street.
Opening in early September, the store will be arranged over two floors and KitchenAid promises it will “inspire kitchen designers, budding bakers and serious chefs alike”.
KitchenAid’s small domestic appliances and its recently launched major appliances will be on display and a super-sized version of the Artisan Stand Mixer will be featured in the store window.
The space will have a fully functioning demonstration kitchen as well as a cookery school, which will host a rolling schedule of events. Events and cooking classes can be booked online.
It will also house a training facility that will host product specialists from retailers nationwide.
To coincide with the launch, KitchenAid will be announcing the names of the new UK-based members of its Serious About Food campaign and will present them to the Serious About Food Council in September.
