Philip Woolsey has been appointed as general production manager for Uform, and he will be responsible for the management and development of all production.
With over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Woolsey has held a variety of positions, including managing director of Greiner and general manager of Huhtamaki.
Head of group operations for Uform, Gary Hutton, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Philip on board as General Production Manager. Philip will initiate and lead change in operational procedures, practices, and cultures to help us maintain a world-class manufacturing operation.
“It’s an exciting chapter as we near the completion of a £3.4million expansion plan which will feature additional paint line capacity and warehousing space to facilitate continued growth. Philip will be pivotal in terms of ensuring resources are in place to deliver operational plans and to ensure adherence to product quality improvement. We wish him every success in his new role.”
