Manufacturer British Ceramic Tile has appointed Heidi Normanton as head of global sales.
Formerly marketing manager for the company’s export channel, Normanton (pictured) will help drive forward the business’s growth strategy overseas.
BCT says that she will draw on her extensive knowledge of the brand and product portfolio and work closely alongside its sales, marketing and design teams to implement a strategy that will increase revenues across key markets worldwide.
British Ceramic Tile’s chief executive, Tony Taylor, said: “Heidi has been with us since 2013 and has been instrumental in driving our export sales in new and existing markets. The knowledge and skills that she’s acquired meant that Heidi was a natural choice for this promotion, and I’m sure she will do a fantastic job of establishing and growing the brand overseas.”
Normanton added: “It’s a hugely exciting time to be stepping up as British Ceramic Tile’s new head of global sales. There’s a great foundation in place for driving our sales. We’ve made inroads in to key markets over the past year, enjoying some great success, so I’m extremely confident in our ability to establish the brand further afield, especially in the USA and Canada which are a top priority for us.”
