Uform expands team with four new members of staff

Uform has made four appointments in its quality management and area sales management teams.

Linda Sempey has joined as the new quality manager and will be responsible for developing and managing the strategic operations of the quality management system. Her role will be to ensure that the products are manufactured in line with exacting specifications and manage the certification of new products while ensuring customer satisfaction.

She has 20 years of experience in various quality roles in the telecommunications, automotive and electronics industries.

Gary Nolan, who will be the area sales manager for the South-Central region, is joining the UK team. He has worked in the KBB industry for ten years with roles including regional sales manager for Blanco and, more recently, UK south sales manager for Smeg.

He will work with retailers in his area and build up the Uform brand with them.

The Ireland team has two new members. Conor Sloan and Shaunna O’Dwyer join as area sales managers, with Sloan covering Northwest counties and Sligo while O’Dwyer’s patch covers Dublin and the wider Leinster region. Both will be responsible for maintaining current accounts and developing new business.

Sloan has 30 years of experience in sales, including the FMCG industry across retail, food service and wholesale sectors. His previous role was the business development manager for the Musgrave Group.

With ten years of account and sales management experience, O’Dwyer has worked in various sectors, including fashion and textiles.

Group sales and marketing director Wes McKenna said: “We’re delighted to welcome Gary, Conor and Shaunna to the sales team, and we’re particularly pleased to welcome Linda on board in a quality capacity.

“We strive to retain our market leading position in terms of service and quality and these latest appointments are a testament to ensure we deliver on our vision of being easy to do business with through offering extensive choice, quality, and convenience, whilst offering a world class customer service. We have a clear growth plan in place and we’re confident that these latest appointments will help us to deliver on this.”
