CTD Tiles reveals new CEO

Newcastle-based manufacturer CTD Tiles has just announced the appointment of Jim Barnard, who will be serving as the company’s new CEO.

He joins CTD Tiles from online bathroom retailer Victoria Plum, where he worked for over two years as its chief operating officer.

Barnard has amassed a wealth of career experience in senior business management roles, and has previously been employed at companies such as B&Q, Wickes, and Halfords over the past 20 years. Using his well-earned industry insights, Barnard will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the CTD Tiles brand going forwards.

Speaking of his new role within the company, Barnard said: “I am excited to join the team at this key moment in our history as a newly independent specialist in the competitive UK tiling market.”

“With the support of the Aurelius Group, I am looking forward to working with the team to build on the strengths and heritage of CT as we continue to drive our business to be better for customers, colleagues and all our stakeholders.”

The tile company was also acquired by the private equity group Aurelius Investments last year.
