Wall panelling manufacturer Grant Westfield – the parent company to Multipanel – has announced that its former sales director, John Mortimer, has been appointed to lead the company as its new managing director.
Mortimer joined Grant Westfield from Formica Group in 2019, and has spent the last four years leading the company’s sales and marketing divisions.
Prior to working at Grant Westfield, Mortimer earned a degree in marketing management from Northumbria University, as well as a CIM PGD in marketing. He also has experience working with laminate products and engineered surface materials in both the trade and retail sectors.
Mortimer commented: “I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead Grant Westfield. The business has a great heritage, brilliant people, fantastic customers and a very exciting future.
“Grant Westfield continues to disrupt the waterproof wall covering market, and with plans for more innovative and trend led product development, it is an incredibly exciting time for the business, and I’m delighted to lead the business into its next phase of growth.”
In order to fill the position Mortimer has vacated, Grant Westfield has announced that former director of key accounts, Michael Dobson, will be serving as its new sales director.
