The Society of British and International Interior Design (SBID) has just announced the finalists for the 2023 International Design Awards.

The annual awards event usually attracts entries from all over the globe, with applicants submitting their entries across three categories: interior design, product design, and interior-fit out.

The interior design category of the SBID International Design Awards covers a range of sub-categories, including office design, hospitality design, and residential design, with a specific category for KBB design.

Within the KBB Design category, 13 of the 25 entrants are UK design projects, including the likes of Diane Berry Kitchens, Poggenpohl, and Bayswater Interiors.

The total list of UK finalists is:

Amberth, for two entries. One is its “Contemporary Luxury Kitchen with Natural Elements” project in London, along with another entry for a traditional and modern fusion kitchen in the city.

Nicola Burt Interior Design, with an Edwardian art deco inspired bedroom design in a London period property.

Bayswater Interiors, with a luxury bedroom suite in Worcester that includes a walk-in dressing area and bathroom.

Rachel Usher Interior Design, entering with an open-plan family kitchen design located in Doncaster.

Chris Fell Design & Project Management, with a classical inspired family kitchen in Lancashire.

Poggenpohl Hampstead, with a luxury kitchen design in Essex.

Poggenpohl Wigmore, with a marble-inspired kitchen in North London.

Diane Berry Kitchens, with its “Southport Luxury Open Plan Kitchen” project in Lancashire.

Inside Studio, with a kitchen project titled “The Old Vicarage” in rural Victorian home in Bolton.

Bocchetta Interiors, entering with a luxury bathroom design titled “The Slipway.”

HUMA Kitchens, with a bespoke kitchen design for a client in London’s Westover Road.

SieMatic Chichester, with a biophilic-inspired kitchen design in Southampton.

Several KBB manufacturers are also finalists in the Product Award categories, such as Crosswater with its 3ONE6 brassware collection, HiB with its Cassini bathroom mirror, RAK Ceramics with its CookingRAK porcelain induction hob, GROHE with its luxury bathroom accessory collection, and Roca with its Ohtake countertop basins.

The entries will now submit to a public vote that closes on September 11, with winners announced at the Landmark Hotel in London, on November 3.
