Italian surface manufacturer Laminam has announced that industry veteran Gavin Shaw has taken over as its new UK managing director.
Shaw has over two decades of director-level experience in the KBB industry and was formerly managing director at Elite Granite Limited, general manager at Cosentino, and also the founder of Shaw Stone Surfaces.
Laminam UK says that his experience with team building, sales, manufacturing, distribution and software implementation all make him the ideal candidate to lead the company in the UK market.
Philip Eeles, president for Laminam in North America, said: “Gavin and I used to work together at Cosentino and he made a huge impact on the company at the start of its UK expansion. When the Laminam UK MD opportunity arose, I knew Gavin would absolutely be the right person for the role. His proven leadership and vast industry experience will undoubtedly drive Laminam to new heights in the UK market.”
