Bathstore ranked among the UK’s top 250 private companies

Bathroom retailer bathstore has been ranked among The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 of private mid-market companies.

Bathstore was listed among the likes of Skyscanner, Nandos and winner Virgin Active, and was the only bathroom retailer to appear on the list.

The retailer said the recognition is a testament to its ‘incredible’ growth since its acquisition from Wolseley in 2012.

Last year, the company delivered sales of £124 million, which was an 11% year on year increase. It has achieved consistent double-digit growth for the past four years.

Gary Favell (pictured), chief executive at bathstore, said: “In the last few years, we have placed a huge emphasis in growing the business through a number of initiatives to create a broader service offering to meet the demand we know exists within the market.

“By offering a complete bathroom solution both in store and online, along with quality products, training our colleagues to the highest level and offering an exceptional installation service, we know we’re offering the best value and service in the sector. We’re delighted to have been recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK – it’s testament to the hard work, commitment and passion of our colleagues to deliver a best in class service.”

Bathstore was ranked 228 in the list of 250 of Britain’s top private companies.
