LochAnna Kitchens acquired by Woodstock

Woodstock Trading Company has successfully acquired LochAnna Kitchens, following a buyout of its parent company.

The buyout means that Woodstock now owns 100% of Faith Furniture Company Ltd, having successfully acquired it from founder and managing director, Paul Jenkinson, as well as the other company shareholders.

Jenkinson said that he was pleased to be transferring ownership of LochAnna to Woodstock, as he has been looking for a “like-minded” business to take over stewardship of the company, and both LochAnna and Woodstock have “very similar cultures”.

He added: “Having spent a lot of time with its business leaders Ben Doouss, Mark Doouss and Alex Seaborn, I knew the LochAnna brand would go from strength to strength as part of the group”.

Hereford-based Woodstock Trading Company is already known within the KBB sector as the manufacturer of and distributor of Calypso Bathroom Furniture and Veldeau Bathroom Furniture. According to Jenkinson, the acquisition demonstrates Woodstock’s ambition to develop into the kitchen industry.

LochAnna Kitchens is now in its 10th year of trading, and has enjoyed steady growth over the last decade. It reportedly delivers more than 200 kitchens per month to its network of 100 dealers across the UK.

LochAnna Kitchens says its Bolton-based team will still continue to manage customer and supplier relationships, so customers will see “very few changes in 2024”. Jenkinson says he plans to also stay involved in the business for the short-term future, so as to better help guide product strategy and customer relationships.

According to LochAnna, the new acquisition comes at a “dynamic time” for the brand. It plans to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2024, and is also set to launch two new product collections this year.

Ben Doouss, founder and chairman of Woodstock is “delighted” to add LochAnna Kitchens to Woodstock’s portfolio. He said: “This an exciting next step for Woodstock and LochAnna, and we will continue to work hard to add value to both brands and customers of both businesses.

“Paul and his dedicated team have built a truly remarkable brand that values quality and service. This year, will be very much business as usual; we are keen to work with the LochAnna team to build on their understanding of the kitchen industry and will add value and investment where and when it’s required.”
