It’s a complicated subject and that can often switch people off but, as we’ll hear today, the ageing workforce could see half of installers retiring in the next five years AND, in 2023, less than 100 direct kbb installation apprentices were taken on.
That maths is not difficult to understand even for us.
The annual conference for the British Institute of KBB Installation – or BiKBBI – was held a couple of weeks ago in London. We’ve featured this event on this podcast before but it’s always a rel snapshot of where the debate has moved – if at all – and what activity is being done to address it.
