Yorkshire-based furniture manufacturer Daval has been shortlisted for no less than three regional business awards.
The Made in Yorkshire Awards are said to celebrate world-class companies based in Yorkshire and Humberside. In these awards, Daval has been shortlisted for the Manufacturer of the Year Awards (under £25 million). It is one of four finalists, which has been selected as having demonstrated excellence and made an outstanding contribution to the manufacturing sector in the region. The winner will be announced at a black-tie event at New Dock Hall in Leeds on March 7.
The other two awards that Daval has been shortlisted for are in the Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards. The awards are Family Business and Innovation.
The shortlisted companies undergo a rigorous judging process. Daval was visited by members of the judging panel in October, when the senior management were asked to do a presentation on why they should win the award. The winners will be announced on February 27 at the Queen’s Hotel, Leeds.
