Planned to open this Autumn, Egger is set to join forces with Cleaf and Blum to launch a new collaborative brand experience showroom on Clerkenwell’s Dallington Street.
The space will be led by Egger, but will reportedly combine the materials and products of all three brands in an immersive display and working space.
According to Egger, the space is planned to be used to offer design inspiration, as well as act as a hub for providing material education.
Cleaf is an Italian family-owned company that produces surfaces for furntiture and interiors. According to Egger, the two companies have a relationship lasting several decades, with the Egger family now owning a 27.5% stake of Cleaf.
Additionally, Egger has historically had a close relationship with Austrian fittings and hinge manufacturer Blum, with the two companies recently holding a joint press conference about sustainable growth at Egger’s headquarters.
The showroom is said to be currently in the concept stages of its design, and is being led by a conceptual brief to create “a space for designers, by designers”.
Despite opening much later on this year, the showroom is scheduled to temporarily open its doors during Clerkenwell Design Week in May. Egger says that attendees can join the three brands between May 21 – 23 for a sneak peek at the space, as well as take part in a series of talks and workshops.
