Roca Group announces two new acquisitions

Roca Group – the parent company behind brands such as Roca, Laufen and Royo – has announced the acquisition of two new companies.

The Roca Group now own Nosag and IneoCare, which both specialise in the manufacture of accessibility products for the bathroom market, with a specific focus on users with reduced mobility.

Switzerland-based Nosag was established in 1977, which went on to establish IneoCare in 2020 to manufacture and supply most of its products. Both companies are currently only active in the Swiss market, but Roca Group says it plans to extend the brands’ offering to all markets that Roca Group currently operates in.

The company says that the acquisitions reinforce its position in Central Europe, and also demonstrate its commitment to the over-65s market, which it says accounts for 20% of Europe’s total population.

Albert Magrans, CEO of Roca Group, said that the acquisitions were a “strategic move” for the company, “given the complementary portfolios of both companies with the current catalogue of products offered by our global brands Roca and LAUFEN”.

He continued: “It reinforces our line of ‘total care concept’ products and will allow us to reach all those people who, as well as being committed to design and usability, need more practical and comfortable devices adapted to their personal circumstances.”

In October of last year, Roca Group announced it had also acquired premium German bathroom brand Alape, rescuing it from preliminary insolvency proceedings. In 2022, Roca Group announced the launch of its Roca Group Ventures fund, intending to invest €25 million in entrepreneurial projects that provide innovative solutions for the bathroom sector.
