Abode has recently seen two of its apprentices Ellie McCall and Abbie Wilkinson passed their NVQ Level 2 exams in Business and Administration. They are now working towards their NVQ Level 3 qualification in customer services.
Both McCall and Wilkinson will start their studies in conjunction with North Lancashire Training. These courses are funded through the European Social Fund, which supports activities to extend employment opportunities and help employers develop a skilled workforce and will last 12-24 months. Abode previously saw Regan Goddard, who joined the company in 2014, graduate with a nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 qualification.
Matthew Pitt of Abode said: “It’s great to see our former apprentices make an increasing contribution by applying what they have learned. Our on-going commitment to staff training is an investment, not only in their career development but also in the long term future of the company, as it continues to grow.”
