BiKBBI offers support to Betta Living installers

The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has pledged its support to installers affected by the news that Betta Living has ceased trading.

The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom company announced on its website on November 4 that it was in the process of appointing an administrator.

BiKBBI chief executive Damian Walters said: “This will be an incredibly stressful time for those employees, customers and installers connected with Betta Living, especially considering the time of year. While we hope that Betta Living and the administrator will find a solution, it would be naive for installers involved not to consider their options at this juncture.

“We will work with both BiKBBI members and non-members, to support them with advice, guidance and options and we’ll be there for any business who needs our support. Thankfully, installation opportunities are plentiful at present and I’m confident that the services of good installers will be in demand, which I’m sure will help the future of those involved.”

The BiKBBI has also invited installers to register their details within its Skills Bank and to email [email protected] for further advice and guidance.
