The 1810 Company freezes prices until April

Flintshire-based sink and tap manufacturer The 1810 Company is freezing its prices until April 1.

The manufacturer said the decision was made to continue its support for its dealers.

Managing director Gareth Williams explained: “We appreciate that retailers are being hit with price increases from all directions, and although the sink and tap may be a small part of the overall kitchen quotation, we are very much aware that every little helps. By holding prices for this length of time, and with such a weak pound, it will obviously hit our bottom line. However, we realise we need to continue to support our dealers, especially when times are particularly difficult.”

However, from April 1, 2017, prices will increase by between 3.5% and 5% on its best-selling products.
