Drinking water appliance manufacturer Zip Water UK and its sister company Instanta, which provides commercial water boilers, has raised more than £1,000 for charity at a joint Christmas fundraiser.
The teams from Zip’s two UK offices – in Norwich and London – and Merseyside-based Instanta came together to host a raffle.
Prizes were donated by staff members, company suppliers and agencies, with each office nominating a charity for a share of the proceeds.
Zip’s London office opted for Cancer Research UK, while its Norwich office chose The Royal British Legion, which provides lifelong support for the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, Reservists, veterans and their families.
The team at Instanta nominated Queenscourt Hospice, which provides specialist end of life care to patients from Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.
Zip managing director Tracey Bamber said: “Christmas is the season of giving and this is exactly what the teams across Zip and Instanta have done this year. With their generosity, it’s fantastic to have been able to raise more than £1,000 for three worthwhile charities, each of which do vital work in their respective fields.”
