Crofts & Assinder secures contracts in North America

Birmingham-based handle and architectural fittings manufacturer Crofts & Assinder has secured a number of new contracts in North America.

The contracts will see more than 100 cabinet hardware products distributed to areas in the US and Canada, and are worth more than three-quarters of a million pounds.

The export market now accounts for 37% of the company’s business.

It has now expanded its product offering to Japan, Australia, America, Canada, Mexico, Bulgaria, Italy, The Nordics and France.

Alex Crofts, chief executive of Crofts & Assinder, said: “In the past few months, we have seen major export growth for our business and we are always keen to expand into new markets. We now feel we’ve got our foot in the door with North American customers and we are looking forward to expanding our product offering even further in that field.”
