Leicht Contracts appoints new sales director

German kitchen brand Leicht Contracts, which provides furniture to the new build and regeneration construction market, has named Will Bishop as its new sales director.

Bishop joins the Leicht team with more than 16 years of experience in the industry. He previously worked as sales director at ACS Stainless Steel Fixings, which is said to be the largest manufacturer of structural building components in the UK. Prior to that role, he has also worked at fabricator Neo Group, as well as Symphony, Whiteleaf Furniture and trade kitchen retailer Howdens.

Leicht says he is well versed in assisting premium property developers, as well as arhictects with high-volume projects.

“I am thrilled to accept the Sales Director role at LEICHT Contracts, and contribute to the supply of stylish, sustainable, and supportive German-made architectural kitchen living spaces throughout the UK,” Bishop commented.

He added: “While high-rise construction is taking place across the UK, the city of London accounts for 58% of all new developments in the pipeline, which is over half of the total value! Furthermore, London’s population is expected to increase to 9.6 million by 2035, and so the need to increase urbanisation is fundamental to the city’s available housing stock, whether new build or redevelopment.”

Sarah Edwards, Leicht Contracts’ managing director, also commented: “We are thrilled to have Will join the team, and strengthen our comprehensive five-year restructuring plan at Leicht Contracts. With a view to provide a stable foundation and steady revenue stream, we have big plans for future growth and are firmly on track to expand our business operations and support the significant pipeline of work already earmarked in 2026.

“Everyone at Leicht Contracts is delighted to expand the team and have Will oversee all sales opportunities, development planning, and strategy refinement in his new role.”
