Kitchen manufacturer Moores has recently announced the promotion of Laura Horne to the position of senior operations manager.
According to the company, Horne has been a key part of its team for over two years, and has been responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives that ended up significantly enhancing the company’s operational processes.
Previously working as the company’s continuous improvement manager, Horne’s projects have been focused on returnable packaging, stock control and enhancements to customer processes.
“I’m looking forward to my new role and hope I can build on the continuous improvement foundations that I have worked on over the last two years,” Horne commented.
“It is an exciting time to be at Moores, with a real sense of building the business and investing in our people. I’m also passionate about encouraging more women into manufacturing and hope I can act as a role model for some of the women in my team in the earlier stages of their careers. I also want to show my young daughter that manufacturing and engineering roles aren’t just for boys!”
