Joining the company on a 12-month secondment from Johannesburg, Malcolm Ash has been appointed as a merchandiser for Abode.
During his time with the company, Ash’s responsibilities will include visiting partner stores across the UK to ensure the Abode brand is represented as expected.
Described as a key member of Norcros Group’s South African business, the company says he brings a wealth of experience, and has since settled in well as a member of the Abode family.
“Forming connections is central to Norcros and the careers of our people can benefit greatly from the international dimension of our operations,” explained Matthew Pitt, managing director at Abode.
“Transferring skills between the different businesses like this introduces new perspectives that can really strengthen our business, making it more than the sum of its parts.”
