Daval announces six-figure investment in 2016

Kitchen supplier Daval has announced 15% growth in 2015 compared to the previous year, and as a result has invested a six-figure sum into its IT infrastructure.

The Huddersfield-based firm has partnered with 2020 Technologies as part of the investment to boost its Option-i production technology and add further flexibility and automation to the business process.

This will also enable the firm to shorten its time to market with new products.

Daval has made a number of investments in its people in 2015, with the employment of new staff, internal promotions and an apprenticeship scheme through the National Apprenticeship Service.

The firm plans to start 2016 with the launch of its new kitchen and bedroom collections at kbb Birmingham in March.

Simon Bodsworth, managing director at Daval, said: “The new collection is the epitome of Daval’s ethos utilising the latest technology to create furniture with a look and feel far superior to current alternative modern products on the market. We’re looking forward to launching new products which we believe will set a new standard for the kitchen and bedroom industries.”
