hib. takes fundraising efforts to new heights

Bathroom manufacturer hib. has kickstarted its fundraising efforts for corporate charity partner Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.

To mark the beginning of the partnership, digital marketing executive, Jatiee Dhnota, raised funds for the charity by completing a skydive from 14,000 feet.

The effort has already raised £600, with hib. pledging to match the total, doubling the donation to support the families staying at Houses across the UK.

Commenting on the experience, Dhnota said: “What better way to celebrate turning 30 than jumping out of a plane for a good cause!

“Taking part in the charity skydive to mark the start of our partnership with our new corporate charity partner was one of the most exhilarating and emotional things I have ever done. I truly hope the money raised helps make a real difference to those who need it most.”

Laura Bennett, corporate fundraiser at Ronald McDonald House Charities UK commented: “Huge thanks to Jatiee for taking the plunge – literally! Jumping out of a plane to raise money takes serious guts, and we’re so proud of her amazing effort.”

In tandem with the skydive fundraiser, five members of the hib. Community Panel visited one of the houses in Birmingham to deliver hands-on support. The team assembled and distributed 65 wellness packs, each with essential toiletries and handwritten affirmations for the families of patients.

The team also helped to clean the communal kitchens and living areas, ensuring that the space remains a welcoming and supportive environment for all the residents.

Bennett added: “We’re incredibly thankful to hib. for launching this partnership with such compassion and care. The wellbeing packs have made a powerful impact already.

“For families receiving them, these packs are so much more than just items, they’re a reminder that our partners care about them and want to offer support during these difficult times. It’s kindness like this that truly makes a difference.”
