The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of DER KREIS, has added The 1810 Company, part of the SCHOCK Group, to its portfolio of suppliers.

KBBG members now have access to 1810 and SCHOCK kitchen sinks and taps.

Bernhard Van Ommen, managing director, The 1810 Company, said: “During a meeting with Owain Harrison at our Business Design Centre London showroom, I was struck by his passion for championing independent kitchen studios, something that strongly aligns with my own commitment to supporting high-end brick-and-mortar retailers.

“I’m confident that The 1810 Company, with its portfolio of premium stainless steel sinks from 1810 and quartz composite sinks from SCHOCK, can deliver real value to the members.”

Owain Harrison, managing director, KBBG, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome 1810 to the KBBG. The range of sinks and taps available from both 1810 and their parent company, SCHOCK Germany, a key European partner of DER KREIS Internationally, will be a real asset to our members.

“The 1810 Company’s commitment to supporting independent retailers while delivering stylish, high performance products makes them a natural fit for our group. It’s great to partner with a company whose values so closely align with our own, and I’m confident this will be a highly successful collaboration.

“It’s essential that we help our members not just meet customer needs, but exceed expectations and stand out in a competitive market. Expanding our portfolio of trusted European suppliers allows us to do exactly that, giving members access to innovative products, quality brands, and commercial support that will underpin their long term success.”

The SCHOCK Group acquired The 1810 Company back in 2022.
