Surface brand Neolith has achieved the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the fourth year in a row, placing it once again in the top 5% of companies for its sustainability merits.
The EcoVadis process evaluates more than 150,000 organisations across 175 countries, using a methodology that assesses companies across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Neolith’s gold medal award means it is within the 97th percentile of those assessed.
In recent years, Neolith has launched several initiatives designed to further its sustainable credentials, including: investing in cleaner and more efficient production processes, integrating renewable energy into its facilities, progressively reducing emissions, promoting a circular economy, and implementing a rigorous programme for responsible supplier selection.
“Receiving the EcoVadis Gold Medal for four consecutive years is clear proof that our efforts are both consistent and sustained,” said Walter Ceglia, Neolith CEO. “Beyond being a recognition, it serves as motivation to continue transforming our industry with innovative, responsible, and increasingly sustainable solutions.”
“The fourth consecutive EcoVadis Gold recognition serves as a strong driver for Neolith to keep moving forward. The company will continue working to achieve new goals, with the ambition of ranking among the highest-rated organisations in sustainability worldwide.”
