Sheridan sees 16% installations boost

Luxury worktops supplier Sheridan Fabrications has announced an uplift in its 2016 installations, partly driven by improved working practices.

The company saw a 15.9% increase in installations, compared with 2015, thanks in part to improved relationships with key accounts such as Travis Perkins.

Sheridan has also seen heavy investment in a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which will be rolled out later this year. This aims to improve on-site communications, scheduling and reporting for installation and surveying teams, adding to Sheridan’s customer service performance levels.

“We’re obviously delighted with last year’s growth but, as always, it’s all about the teams and personnel that make it happen,” said managing director John Blackburn (pictured). “Training and education is a cornerstone of our business now, not only for our own people but our customers too, and we launched our new training facilities last year to aid progression. But it doesn’t stop here, our plans for 2017 will ensure it’s going to be equally rewarding.”
