Bathroom manufacturer Duravit welcomed Michael Demmer to its executive board, where he will serve as the company’s chief transformation & people officer (CTFO).
Demmer will officially step into the role on February 1, and the company says he will now be responsible for transformation, organisation, and human resources at the business’ highest level.
According to Duravit, this focus on transformation is in an effort to continue to advance its strategic development, as well as anchor change in the long term.
Demmer joins the company with many years of international management and leadership experience behind him. Duravit says that in previous roles, his focus was on further developing organisations, as well as successful leadership in dynamic market conditions.
According to the company, his leadership approach “combines clear objectives, efficient structures, and the consistent involvement of employees”.
