Former Waterline sales director Rob Taylor has been appointed as a sales ambassador to kitchen manufacturer Omega, with a view to support the company’s ongoing growth.

Taylor previously worked at distributor Waterline from 1985 up until the company entered administration last year. Having gained decades of experience in the industry, Taylor has since launched his new consultancy business, KBB Brand Collective by Rob Taylor, with Omega being its exclusive furniture partner.

As sales ambassador, Taylor will work closely with the Omega team to strengthen strategic initiatives and identify new market opportunities for expansion. Specifically, Omega says his work will primarly involve promoting its new In Frame kitchen range and handleless Novus collection.

“To have opportunity to work with a business I have admired for many years, with such vast potential as Omega have, is truly exciting,” Rob Taylor commented. “My approach combines 40 years of industry insight with a collaborative working style to help drive informed decisions and sustainable outcomes underpinned by providing either suppliers or retailers expert tailored support towards their goals.

“As my first client, I’m immensely proud to work with British manufacturer Omega, who have invested heavily and worked tirelessly since the pandemic to build a highly impressive proposition for the Independent Kitchen Specialist, which embodies the offer and values that will underpin my new consultancy service.”

James Bishton, Omega’s retail sales director added: “We are thrilled to welcome such a seasoned professional to our team. Rob’s wealth of knowledge and industry insight will be invaluable as we continue to evolve, drive strategic growth and deliver exceptional kitchens to our partners.”
