Dornbracht debuts digital documents

Fittings manufacturer Dornbracht has overhauled and digitised its technical documentation for installers, making all assembly, care, and repair information now available online instead.

The update includes newly structured assembly and planning instructions, as well as fully digitised care guidance. In addition, Dornbracht has introduced separate repair manuals for complex products, designed to give installers faster access to the information they need when servicing fittings.

Previously integrated into assembly instructions, the new standalone repair manuals are now provided for main items, helping to streamline maintenance work. Dornbracht says the change will make servicing more efficient for installers by allowing them to quickly locate relevant repair information.

To support this further, spare parts will now be supplied with a QR code that links directly to the appropriate repair manual on the Dornbracht website.

Dornbracht has also redesigned its care instructions as part of the update. Rather than including a printed leaflet, fittings will now be supplied with a tag featuring a QR code that directs users to online care guidance.

The company says that aside from making information easier to access, the move also supports its sustainability goals by reducing paper use.

“With the new format, we are conserving resources and ensuring that important information reaches those who need it,” explained Helga Fuchs, head of documentation and product data at Dornbracht.
