Meet our finalists: Kitchen Showroom of the Year 2026

The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards are the biggest awards in the kitchen and bathroom independent retail industry. Here, we take a look at the finalists for the Kitchen Showroom of the Year 2026.

Kitchen Showroom of the Year 2026

Sponsored by InSinkErator

This award is solely about showroom design. Putting your showroom forward for an award is always a brave thing to do as it pits your skills against your fellow retailers and lets a judging panel decide who has hit the mark more than another.

Because of this, we take the entry and judging process really seriously and we believe it’s unique to this industry and is designed to make sure that those who win have truly earned their trophy.

The winners will be announced at the gala black tie event on Monday, March 2 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Espresso Design, St John’s Hill, London

Founded in 2005, Espresso Design is located in a vibrant design-focused area near Clapham Junction. Its 120 m² showroom blends contemporary kitchen design with experiential engagement for homeowners, architects, and designers. Leading brands include CESAR, KEY Cucine, Grand Union, Zalf, Wolf, Sub-Zero, Bora, Gaggenau, Miele, and Quooker, complemented by a König outdoor kitchen for alfresco living demonstrations.

The showroom’s journey is carefully curated: clients explore secret walk-in pantries, a samples area, and tactile displays such as a five-metre Patagonia Quartzite marble wall. Natural light, warm oak flooring, and realistic domestic styling help clients visualise layouts and finishes in everyday life. Espresso Design’s approach celebrates individuality, material experimentation, and the blending of interior and outdoor living spaces.

Marketing, lifestyle events, and collaborative design sessions ensure the showroom functions as a creative hub, while recent refurbishments, including bespoke coffered ceilings, enhanced lighting, and refreshed branding, reinforce its identity as a high-end design destination.

Point 5 Kitchens, Belsize Park, London

Founded in 2012, Point 5 Kitchens’ flagship Belsize Park showroom opened in October 2025 in a prestigious north-west London location. The showroom is designed to cater to affluent, design-conscious homeowners seeking high-spec renovation solutions, with no direct local competition.

All furniture is bespoke and manufactured in the company’s Polish factory, supported by premium appliances and surface materials including Natural Stone, Dekton, Neolith, and Atlas Plan. Additional hardware and design elements feature Buster & Punch, Clem Finch, and Henry Glass pivot doors, while the team demonstrates innovative pocket door systems by Salice and Hawa.

The showroom spans two floors and over 15 displays, including multiple kitchens, wardrobe setups, a wine room, utility area, office, and basement bathroom. Each display is carefully curated to showcase different styles, solutions, and design possibilities, from modern minimalism to traditional luxury, ensuring inspiration and confidence for clients. Sustainability is embedded through eco-friendly production, recycled veneers, and a waste-free factory system.

Rencraft, Sevenoaks

Founded in 1980, Rencraft is a leader in handcrafted, bespoke kitchens and interiors. The Tunbridge Wells showroom, a four-storey Georgian townhouse, serves as the flagship space, offering 16 unique displays across four floors. Clients encounter a mix of traditional English designs, contemporary German SieMatic kitchens, and creative urban concepts.

The showroom integrates premium appliances such as BORA, Sub-Zero & Wolf, Gaggenau, Miele, and Quooker, along with high-quality surfaces including Caesarstone, Silestone, Laminam, and natural woods. Every floor is curated to inspire: from a basement boot room, urban chef’s kitchen, walk-in pantry, and beverage station to the ground floor ‘House of Rencraft’ display, Italian kitchens on the first floor, and the Penthouse entertaining suite with SieMatic Mondial kitchen and bar.

Sustainability is central, with FSC-certified materials, energy-efficient lighting, and lifetime cabinetry guarantees. The showroom also highlights local artists, ceramics, and Kent wines, enhancing both design and community engagement.

Steven Christopher Design, Beeston, Nottinghamshire

Founded in 2002, Steven Christopher Design opened its flagship Beeston showroom in February 2025 following a 16-month refurbishment of a historic bank building. The 450 m² space features 13 carefully curated displays, ranging from sleek modern handleless kitchens to classic in-frame handcrafted designs.

Unique experiential elements, including a cinema room within the bank’s old vault and displays of pantries, utility rooms, home offices, and open-plan living areas, demonstrate the brand’s versatility in designing and installing entire home interiors. Clients enter via a private car park into the grand former banking hall, a light-filled space with high ceilings and large windows that immediately showcases modern Leicht kitchens.

Smaller, supporting displays highlight storage solutions, utility functionality, and lifestyle integration. The showroom is designed to educate, inspire, and immerse clients in a journey through innovative and adaptable kitchen design.
