The launch of the EGGER Decorative Collection 24+ two years ago was a global success, despite challenges such as changing market requirements and a dynamic competitive environment.

The wood-based material manufacturer has refreshed its Decorative Collection for furniture and interior design products. For the first time, EGGER is working with a two-year rolling collection concept, giving it the opportunity to respond quickly and flexibly to trend developments and changing market requirements. With ongoing updates, it can make new introductions and innovations to help keep customers in step with the times.

New uni colours, linear Italian-style woods, extensions to the colour spectrum of PerfectSense Matt surfaces, the new repeatless decor H1316 ST17 Bookmatch Oak, and a new matt all-over wood texture are just some of the new introductions this year…

Visual harmony

Decor innovations in the trend for beige colour tones are a particular highlight for 2026, along with wood reproductions in linear Italian design. Warm beige can tie in with many materials, and in light colour  gradations, creating harmonious contrasts that contribute to the feel-good character of a space. Unlike white, beige goes well with almost any other colour, thanks to its balanced neutrality.

When beige replaces bright white, it is contrasted by warm brown tones. However, these are not one-tone, but appear as elegant and calm wood effects in the Italian style, adding the necessary natural accent to interior designs. After a long period of rustic woods, EGGER is presenting a balanced mix of natural, elegant and simple designs in the Decorative Collection 26+.

Matt aesthetics

EGGER has also expanded its range of PerfectSense lacquer products to include decors and optimised innovative product solutions. The surface of PerfectSense matt lacquered chipboard is changing from TM9 to TM, achieving a decor and material combination of unrivaled quality across 11 uni-colours.

PerfectSense Ambiance is the latest innovation among the PerfectSense lacquer products. The matt-gloss effect is what makes it special, emphasised via synchronised texture depths.

With the decors F128  PA Black Ambiance Granite and F129 PA Beige Ambiance Granite, the gloss characteristics are perfectly combined with a velvety matt surface. The perfect co-ordination of the partial gloss effects with the underlying decor image of the stone reproductions create a synchronised look.

Impressive surfaces

With the new repeatless decor, EGGER is setting new standards in the reproduction of natural wood effects for large-area applications. The new H1316 ST17 Bookmatch Oak shows character without repetition over the entire length of 2,800 mm and width of 2,070 mm, something that could previously only be implemented as veneer, combined with the flexibility and quality of a wood-based material. Traditionally, wood is split into thin layers to achieve this pattern. Veneers are then joined together, butt to butt, by hand, creating the so-called bookmatch effect.

In combination with the new matt surface ST17 Omnipore Oiled, an authentic look is created that is close to the appearance of oiled real wood. It is the latest generation of an irregular all-over wood pore. Its special feature is that it has a very low gloss level, whereby the pore also appears matt.
