Euromonitor names Haier leading appliance brand for 17th year

Global market research institution Euromonitor International has once again ranked Haier as the world’s leading major home appliance brand by sales volume, making this the 17th consecutive year the company has been awarded the accolade.

Looking at Euromonitor’s 2025 data in a bit more detail, it has now ranked Haier the world leader by sales volumes for freezers, wine coolers, washing machines and refrigerators for 15, 16, 17 and 18 years running, respectively.

Last year, the company also appeared on Forbes’ Best Employers list for the ninth consecutive year, and also unveiled major new sports sponsorships with Liverpool Football Club and Paris Saint-Germain

The Chinese appliance brand says it now has operations in over 200 countries and regions, and estimates it currently serves more than one billion households.
