Iconic Italian appliance brand Smeg has recently unveiled its first new built-in aesthetic line in roughly a decade, which it has called Musa.
Developed as part of a collaboration with studio BorromeoDeSilva, the range offers a full suite of ovens, induction hobs, a microwave and a warming drawer, offered in both black and silver colourways.
Aesthetically, Smeg says the new Musa range interplays glossy and matte surfaces, sleek lines, elegant detailing, and measured curves.
“Musa is an expression of the values that have guided Smeg for over 75 years: the quest for quality, attention to detail and the ability to combine innovation and style,” explained Smeg chairman Vittorio Bertazzoni. “With this collection, we are presenting not only new appliances, but also a coherent visual language that can dialogue with the spaces in the home and the people living there, thus confirming the identity and aesthetic vision that sets the brand apart.”
