Hansgrohe has announced two appointments to its UK team, with Sam Cooke stepping into the role of sales director, and Jowita Chanowska being appointed to manage the brand’s Water Studio in London.

As UK sales director, Cooke will be replacing Liam Ryan, who is retiring from the industry. He joins Hansgrohe with a strong background in national account management and senior sales leadership, having managed sales teams since 2015. His most recent roles have been with Davroc and VitrA, where he worked to develop strategic retail partnerships and drive growth.

Going forward, Cooke will now lead Hansgrohe’s UK sales strategy, working closely with showroom partners, merchants and specification stakeholders to maximise opportunities.

“I am delighted to be joining the Hansgrohe team at such an exciting time,” Cooke said. “The expansion into ceramics and furniture means the business is exceptionally well positioned to drive further growth as a complete bathroom space specialist.

“Hansgrohe has a strong reputation as an innovative market leader for high-performing showering and brassware solutions, and I look forward to building on this with our customers and supporting them in delivering complete, design-led bathroom solutions.”

Meanwhile, Chanowska’s new role as Water Studio manager will see her take on responsibility for increasing engagement with the specification market, enhancing showroom partnerships and curating events to connect with the design community.

Hansgrohe says Chanowska has a background spanning interior design, workplace and hospitality projects, and that she has more than a decade of experience working across design studios and leading prouct manufacturers.

“The Hansgrohe Water Studio is such an important resource,” Jowita Chanowska explained. “Located in the centre of London, it enables architects, designers and industry professionals to experience Hansgrohe’s products first-hand, gaining both inspiration and insight of the latest innovations, market advances and project solutions. I see our role is to inspire, and I look forward to helping create meaningful touchpoints between our brand, our products and our valued customers and partners.”
