Duravit AG and CEO Stephan Patrick Tahy have parted ways by mutual agreement, with interim leadership put in place as the company charts its next strategic steps.
Duravit AG has confirmed that its CEO, Stephan Patrick Tahy, will leave the company following a joint decision with the Supervisory Board and the owners. The move comes after discussions concluded that the visions for the company’s strategic direction were no longer aligned.
Speaking on behalf of the Supervisory Board and owners, Gregor Greinert said: “We thank Stephan Patrick Tahy for his dedication to Duravit AG and for his valuable contributions to the company.
“He set strategic milestones and initiated further developments during a time of change. We wish him every success and all the best in his future personal and professional endeavors.”
Tahy reflected on his tenure, stating: “I look back on my time at Duravit with great appreciation. Together with a dedicated, international team, we took important steps for the company’s further development.
“I would like to thank the owners, the Supervisory Board, and especially all the employees worldwide for their trust, passion, and collaborative work. I wish Duravit continued success.”
Duravit has confirmed that interim leadership will be handled collectively by existing Executive Board members Martin Winkle (CFO), Thomas Stammel (COO), and Michael Demmer (CTPO) while plans for the future management team are finalised.
The news signals a period of transition for the German bathroom brand, which has been navigating a changing market while expanding its international footprint.
