Brassware and accessories brand JTP has announced two new additions to its sales team, with Bobby Pearson appointed as area sales manager, and David Whiteside joining as specification manager.
Pearson will now have responsibility for sales in the South East, where he will focus on developing relationships with merchants and installers in the region.
He has almost 20 years of career experience in roles across the bathroom industry. With experience in both showrooms and trade sales, Pearson has previously held roles with Salamander Pumps, Novellini and Aqualisa.
Meanwhile, Whiteside will become specification manager for the South, West and South Wales. Going forward, he will focus on driving specification opportunities across large-scale residential and commercial projects, working to make sure JTP products are specified at the earliest stages of project planning.
“I’m excited to join JTP, a brand known for its stylish, high-quality bathroom products,” Bobby Pearson said. “My first few weeks have been really positive, taking over from Keith following his retirement after 40 years in the industry. It’s great to see customers enthusiastic about building new relationships with both JTP and myself.”
Similarly, David Whiteside commented: “My focus will be on engaging with those responsible for specifying bathroom products across a wide range of developments, from new-build housing to large residential refurbishments and hotel projects. With over 200,000 new homes built annually across England and Wales, there is a significant opportunity to ensure JTP products are considered and specified from the outset.”
