Nobilia appoints new UK logistics director

Nobilia has welcomed Michael George as its new UK logistics director, where he will oversee the logistical operations of the company’s Kutchenhaus, KUBE and Nobilia Projects brands.

George joins Nobilia with over 30 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, including 22 years at DHL, and a six-year stint as UK managing director of logistics at Samsung SDS.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Nobilia,” George said, continuing: “The business has already built strong momentum in the UK, and, with the backing of Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, there is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate that growth.

“I’m particularly excited to be joining at a stage where we can help shape the future operational DNA of the business, as it evolves from a fast-growing, under-the-radar organisation into a major player in the UK kitchen market.”

Similarly, Sean Ford, managing director of Nobilia UK also added: “Nobilia is excited to welcome Michael to the team. His extensive experience in large-scale logistics and national distribution will bring an invaluable perspective as we continue strengthening our UK infrastructure.

“As Nobilia’s presence in the UK expands, having the right personnel in place is key to ensuring we deliver operational excellence and a seamless service for our customers every day.”

George’s appointment follows news earlier this month that Nobilia had also welcomed Ntola Obazee as its new group marketing director for the UK.
