Sensio and Uform announce new partnership

Lighting specialist Sensio has announced a new partnership with components supplier Uform, which the companies say should make complementary cabinetry and lighting products more accessible to retailers.

Sensio says the partnership represents the next natural step in its evolution, pairing its LED lighting solutions with a company which it says “truly understands the KBB space”. The lighting brand added that Uform’s portfolio of over 15,000 products makes an ideal foundation for its integrated lighting solutions, in addition to having access to its established distribution network.

Similarly, Uform believes that bringing Sensio’s products into its portfolio will help increase value for retailers, as well as provide them with a more premium solution.

“Partnering with Uform represents a natural alignment between two market leaders with a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service,” explained Richard Bellwood, Sensio Lighting sales director. “Uform has built an outstanding reputation for delivering premium products and exceptional support, while Sensio continues to lead the way in design-led lighting solutions for the KBB sector.

“This collaboration allows us to bring together complementary strengths, combining Sensio’s expertise in lighting with Uform’s established distribution network and deep understanding of the market. As a result, we are well positioned to deliver even greater value to customers, with enhanced accessibility to our products and a seamless service experience. We’re excited to be working alongside the Uform team and are confident that this partnership will drive continued growth for both businesses, while setting new standards across the industry.”

Wes McKenna, Uform group sales and marketing director, added: “At Uform, we are always looking for ways to add greater value for our customers and help them deliver truly differentiated spaces for their end users. Partnering with Sensio Lighting is a natural fit, their design-led lighting solutions align perfectly with our commitment to quality, innovation and considered design.

“By bringing Sensio’s integrated lighting expertise into our extensive product portfolio, we are enabling the trade across the UK and Ireland to offer a more joined-up, premium solution where cabinetry, furniture and lighting work seamlessly together. We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership creates and look forward to working closely with the Sensio team to support our customers’ continued success.”

Last month, Uform also acquired component brand TKC, claiming the newly combined business has become “the largest specialist supplier to the kitchen market” in the UK. Along with the acquisition, Uform also appointed a new CEO, David Adams, to lead both businesses.
