Blum seeking worthy cause for Make It Happen campaign

Blum is inviting industry professionals to share the local causes that are close to their heart as part of its Make It Happen campaign, and says it will pick one initiative to make a donation of £1,500 towards.

The initiative is running until June 30 this year, with Blum saying it is looking for “inspiring, feel-good ideas that will help bring meaningful projects to life”. Those wanting to take part can submit a short submission through Blum’s dedicated Make It Happen website, here.

Applicants can each share one cause, outlining what kind of difference Blum’s support would make. Blum says every idea will be considered on its potential to positively impact others, alongside the idea’s creativity and clarity of need.

“At the heart of this initiative is a simple thought and that’s helping people to do something good for others,” explained Krystyna Threlfall, Blum UK marketing manager. “We know there are so many individuals quietly making a difference in their communities and this is our way of supporting them. Whether it’s a small act that means the world to a few people, or something that brings a whole community together, we want to help make it happen.

“We’re open to all kinds of entries and encourage anyone with a cause they’re passionate about to apply. Submissions can be made in under 150 words, making it quick and easy to get involved.”

“Our Make It Happen campaign is about more than just the job at hand; it’s about giving people the time and confidence to show up for the moments that matter. By supporting professionals with reliable products, expert advice and practical solutions, we’re here to help solve problems faster, work smarter and keep things moving, so there’s always time for the things close to our hearts.”
