Geberit invests €40m in logistics

Swiss Sanitaryware manufacturer Geberit has invested €40 million in expanding its logistics centre in Pfullendorf, Germany.

The warehouse in southern Germany town has been expanded to 60,000sq m and is helping Geberit to keep up with the increasing demand resulting from the company’s growth.

Geberit said the centre is ideally located to make sure it supplies customers’ products in the most “economically and ecologically-efficient manner possible”.

The expanded logistics centre now includes a small-parts warehouse, a new high-bay warehouse, a processing area with fully automated workstations and the expansion of the shipping area.
