Lakes Showering Spaces has launched Lakes 8+®, a new collection of first class all 8mm shower enclosures carefully designed and superbly engineered to give retailers a genuinely different story to tell on the showroom floor.

The range debuts with two products. The Lakes 8+® Soft-Close Sliding Door has a smooth action mechanism controlling both opening and closing, delivering a calm, quiet glide – the same effortless feel customers know from high-end kitchen drawers. It features slimline profiling and superior hardware throughout, as well as a super low bottom profile step-in-and-out doorway.

Then there’s the Lakes 8+® Self-Close Infold Door, opening half into the room and half into the shower area, saving space outside the enclosure – great for tighter bathroom spaces where every millimetre counts, yet still provides substantial entry and exit width. It also features controlled, automatic closing when the door reaches a 20-degree angle. 

Both Lakes 8+® shower doors are built around patented operating mechanisms developed specifically for the Lakes 8+® range, with 8mm toughened safety glass – AllClear® coated on both sides as standard – and premium hardware throughout. Lakes 8+® slimline profile and fully concealed fixings let the design flow uninterrupted, creating a clean, minimal look.

Fitting has been considered from the installer’s point of view too, with generous out-of-plumb adjustment on each product for easier installation, even when wall surfaces are not true.

The collection is offered in a range of on-trend finishes – Silver, Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Gun Metal, Brushed Bronze, and Black available too for the Infold design – allowing retailers to complement the fixtures and brassware their customers are already choosing.
