Victoria + Albert Baths appoints new CEO

Luxury British bathroom brand Victoria + Albert Baths has announced the appointment of Edward Davies (pictured) as chief executive.

He has over a decade of experience with the company and succeeds Chris Davies who will be stepping down from the position to assume the role of executive chairman, which will allow him to focus on the strategy behind the group.

The changes will be effective as of July 1.

Chris Davies said: “I’m absolutely delighted with the hard work of our team and proud of the progress we’ve made over the last two decades. We have expanded to six continents, established regional offices and developed new product lines. I look forward to working closely with Edward and the rest of the management team in the years ahead. Victoria + Albert Baths has been on an exciting journey and there is plenty more to come.”

Edward Davies commented: “I have worked closely with Chris over the last few years and I’m pleased to step into the role as chief executive. We’ve seen stable growth in the company through somewhat turbulent times, and I’m confident that our strategy of moving into complementary products such as high-end furniture and brassware will support our core business of freestanding baths and basins. In the next few years we will focus on strengthening our retail positioning, and also further expand into the contract market, where we’re starting to see some exciting results.”
