German kitchen manufacturer, Rational, has selected Goldbach Kirchner as its new manufacturing partner.
The family-run company, founded in 1922, has sites in Geiselbach and Dessau in Germany, and a 1,000 sqm showroom in Zurich.
The Goldbach Kirchner Geiselbach site is home to the development and production of partition wall systems and interior fittings. At the Dessau site, the company has a Industry 4.0 ‘state-of-the-art’ production line that is used to manufacture for national and international projects.
A statement from Rational said: “Past experience has shown that the production of our high-quality and bespoke kitchens relies on a unique blend of craftsmanship and industrial production. Meeting our customers’ technical requirements has always been of paramount importance to us, and we remain committed to this principle.
“This principle was particularly important to Rational when searching for a suitable partner. For this reason, we have decided to work with Goldbach Kirchner in Geiselbach. Rational kitchens will continue to be proudly produced in Germany.”
The statement added: “The extensive expertise in both interior design and metalworking, supported by their own logistics throughout Europe, has convinced us that we have found the ideal partner in Goldbach Kirchner to be able to supply Rational Kitchens ‘Made in Germany’ to our customers again from January 2025.”
Rational recently made the announcement that it is to make its return to the UK market next year, following its insolvency in 2022.
To further solidify its return, Rational will be exhibiting at this year’s in-house exhibition from September 21 – 26. It will be showing “exciting new materials, the latest lighting technology and high-quality interior fittings”, according to the company.
