Bespoke kitchen company Tom Howley has renovated its flagship showroom in Wigmore Street, with the new additions highlighting its recently-announced “other rooms” offering.
The split-level showroom has totally renovated its subterranean space, which now includes a new kitchen, walk-in pantry, bootility, bedroom and walk-in dressing room displays, all of which were first shown for the first time this week.
Prior to the renovation, the lower level of the showroom featured displays by Neville Johnson. However, now the Wigmore Street showroom exclusively shows Tom Howley displays.
According to eponymous creative design director, Tom Howley, the new renovations took around six months to complete. He also explained that the new displays highlight popular colour trends in the wider market, and also make extensive use of cabinetry in Tudor Oak throughout.
During a walk-through of the new space, Howley also revealed that the bed and buttoned headboard informed the overall design of the rest of the displays, which also make heavy use of Tom Howley’s Anise colourway.
The new central kitchen display in the space features Caesarstone worktops in London Grey, as well as appliances from Miele, Sub-Zero and Bora, along with a Whitebirk sink and Bidbury brassware.
Speaking at the event, Simon Meyrick, managing director of Tom Howley said: “We’re very proud of what we’ve done here with the latest iteration of our flagship store here.
“Earlier this year, Tom Howley celebrated its 20th anniversary, and it feels absolutely right that we’re here in the heart of Wigmore Street unveiling the latest iteration of our showroom. It’s been an incredible twenty year journey, going from being a start-up company in the South West to being now a big presence in our segment of the luxury kitchen market.”
At the end of 2023, Tom Howley opened its milestone 20th showroom in the UK, located in Nottingham. Around the same time, Tom Howley himself also spoke about how he believes the trend for open-plan kitchens will continue to be enduringly popular with consumers.
