Cosentino: Design that runs deeper
Cosentino's new Éclos brand gives designers a fresh way to create standout schemes, pairing through-body detailing with a carefully curated palette that rewards close inspection.

Surface materials often set the tone for an entire kitchen, which makes genuine innovation difficult to ignore.
Rather than introducing another collection of stone-inspired decors, Cosentino has developed the new Éclos brand to rethink how pattern becomes part of the material itself, creating a finish with noticeably greater depth and visual richness.
A distinct feature of the brand is Cosentino’s Inlayr technology, which forms part of its new Inlayered Mineral Surfaces category. Instead of limiting decoration to the face of the slab, veining and pattern run through multiple layers of the material.
This should spark keen interest for designers, opening up new possibilities wherever edges become a feature in their own right – from waterfall islands and open shelving to statement breakfast bars and bespoke furniture details.
Behind the design
The inaugural Eclectic Veins collection offers ten designs, balancing soft neutral tones with warmer, more expressive options. That breadth allows retailers to meet a wide range of briefs without compromising on a premium aesthetic, whether the customer wants understated elegance or a bolder focal point within the room.
Behind the design sits equally considered engineering. Every Éclos surface contains zero crystalline silica and includes a minimum of 50% recycled material, with some colours approaching 90%.
At the same time, the material has been developed to deliver improved flexibility, impact resistance and heat resistance, making it practical for fabrication as well as everyday kitchen use.
For independent retailers, products that offer a different story can be just as valuable as products that offer a different appearance. Éclos gives showroom teams another reason to engage customers, demonstrating how advances in manufacturing can influence not only performance, but the finished look of a kitchen.
It is an opportunity to move the conversation beyond colour selection and towards thoughtful design, material innovation and long-term value.
Éclos is available now, with designs viewable at Cosentino City London and Manchester. For more information, visit www.cosentino.com.
